However, according to Forrester Research, only 5% of Americans who own mobile phones report actually ever scanning one in the last three months. Those that did, tended to be the young, affluent, male, early-adopter demographic. So who are QR codes for — marketers or consumers?!

Mobile App vs Mobile Web
To App or Not to App? The debate between developing lower-cost mobile websites versus a higher-cost mobile application is contentious. A mobile website can render on all devices but doesn’t get full access to local tools like GPS, the camera, accelerometers, etc. So which way is the mobile world leaning: app, website, or something in between?

How do I get a cool comment badge?
JDM’s website (or websites, really) use avatars to generate those cool badges in comments, but we’re not the only one’s that use them. In fact, we use something called Gravatars (a combination of ‘Avatar’ and Global’) that means you only have to setup your avatar once (on the Gravatar site) and it will work on any website that uses that API.

Does JDM support IE6?
The short answer is no. JDM no longer supports backwards compatibility with IE6. That’s not to say our work isn’t compatible. It just means we won’t guarantee it. How did we fall out of love with IE6? I’ll let the JDM Labs team explain.
